Sarah Cockcroft

Sarah has an honours degree in English and Medieval Studies from the University of Exeter.

After graduation, she trained as a journalist - achieving the National Council for the Training of Journalists proficiency qualification.  Work as a reporter for local newspapers in north London and later for the London Evening Standard followed until Sarah was given the opportunity of joining the `This is Your Life` team at Thames Television which she took – staying there for three years. She spent a further five years with independent TV production company Zenith North as a producer and director – winning both a Royal Television Society award and a BAFTA for her work.

Sarah joined SBPR in 2004 and has since helped lots of our clients raise their profile with well thought-out press releases, carefully placed features, competitions, events and strategic advice.  She has used her TV and journalistic contacts to secure some excellent TV and radio coverage and, on behalf of SBPR, has also produced corporate films.  With all her years of experience, Sarah, who is married to a top freelance cameraman, is also very good at providing media training and general media know-how.
