The end of the summer holidays are fast approaching but Flambards, one
of Cornwall’s premier family attractions, intends to ensure the fun lasts until
the end of the very last day.
The first weekend in September - Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd - before the new school year begins, is Flambards Summer Holiday Fun Finale when one adult will be offered free entry with every child paying the full price of £13.95.
“We wanted to help beat the ‘back to school blues!” explained Flambards’ Head of Marketing, Susie Hale. “And to give everyone a lift at the end of the first week back, Sunday, September 9th marks Ferdi the Fox’s birthday when entry for everyone will be reduced to just £9.95.”
As an additional celebration of Ferdi’s special day, visitors will be invited to write the Flambards’ mascot a poem. Whoever writes the one judged to be the best will be awarded a Flambards Annual Pass and a cuddly Ferdi all of their own.
The attraction’s operating times will change at the beginning of September. Opening hours will be from 10.15am until 5.30pm and the park will be closed on Fridays and Mondays from September 7 until September 21. From Monday, September 24 and throughout October until half term, October 27, Flambards will be open on Wednesday, Saturdays and Sundays only.
Full details of opening times, special events and entry prices can be found on www.flambards.co.uk. Alternatively, call 01326 573404.
Ends 21 August 2012
